Analyze the structure, thesis and main arguments of the TED Talk you chose. Consider the following: What was the thesis or main point of the talk? Say it in your own words, and evaluate how well the writer argued and demonstrated this thesis? What were the main arguments that supported the thesis statement? Try to show at least three supporting arguments and evaluate them. What was the overall method of development of the talk? Explain how this structure was used effectively to build the argument. Sometimes you may be able to more than one method of development — some essays may have a couple of paragraphs in chronological order, for example, but build the argument as a whole in a logical or chronological order. If you can, try to identify and explain the method of development that is most important to building the whole of the essay rather than just a part. Now talk about the value of this particular talk. Did you like the TED Talk? Why or why not? Was this an appropriate subject for a TED Talk? Why or why not? Read Julie Bindel’s “Why I’d Never Do a TED Talk.” What do you think of her criticisms? Are they valid in the case of the talk you listened to? Why or why not? The word count for this assignment should be approximately between 700-750 words. link to the Ted Talk I want you analyze : https://youtu.be/QP9x1NnCWNY
